ADULT CONFIRMATION
The Adult Confirmation Program is designed to bring adults to the Sacrament of Confirmation by letting them come to a deeper understanding of how the Holy Spirit works in their lives and in the life of our Church, and how they can interact with that Spirit to lead a life that will draw them into a closer relationship with our Lord Jesus.
If you, or someone you know, have never received the Sacrament of Confirmation and would like to do so, please call the Parish Office to make an appointment with the parish priest.If you are 18 years old or above, and would like to receive the sacrament, you may take part in the Faith Formation Classes offered by the Diocese of Fall River.
If you would like to register for this formation program, you must show proper motivation to receive the sacrament (ie. Desire to be an active member of the Roman Catholic Church, not just to get married; You DO NOT need to be confirmed to be married by the church.)
We need a generation of FAITHFUL CATHOLICS, not just people going through the motions with an empty heart.
It is EXPECTED that the candidate is already showing evidence of WEEKLY MASS ATTENDANCE in our/their parish of St. Michael.
